Last Friday, Mike graduated from BESS — Basic Enlisted Submarine School — which makes him officially a US Navy Submariner. (And for those of you interested it’s pronounced sub-marine-er, not sub-marin-er.)
He is now in BMS and ATT — more training classes that I have no idea what he’s learning or even what the acronyms stand [...]
